Making of Loco – Jowell Y Randy feat. Wisin Y Yandel – El Momento
En un lujoso yate, Wisin & Yandel acompañaron a Jowell & Randy en el videoclip Loco que se filmó en la bahía de San Juan.
Jowell & Randy sienten estar en el mejor momento de su carrera musical, y están más que queridos, puesto que sus ahora jefes Wisin & Yandel les entregaron $300 mil de su bolsillo para que se boten haciendo dos vídeos.
El primero es el del tema Loco, que se filmó ayer bajo un ardiente sol en un yate de 95 pies de altura en la bahía de San Juan, bajo la dirección de Jesse Terrero. Y claro está, los acompañó el autodenominado “Dúo de la Historia”.
Loco se ha grabado en dos versiones: una original para el disco El momento, que lanzarán Jowell & Randy en abril, y la otra es un remix con Wisin & Yandel. El tema tiene una fusión de reguetón con soca.
El segundo videoclip es Un booty nuevo que Jowell describe como “un perreo” en el que le acompañará Yaviah.
Desde la lujosa embarcación, Wisin expresó en un aparte con los medios que la unión del sello discográfico White Lion al que pertenecen Jowell & Randy y su compañía WY Records ha sido para internacionalizar la carrera del dueto utilizando su fórmula ganadora.
Reconoció además que “esa combinación (musical) de Jowell & Randy es lo que hace que la gente se enloquezca”.
Yandel, por su parte, comentó que “Jowell & Randy han demostrado al público que son guerreros, por eso están al lado de nosotros. A ellos los comparo mucho con nosotros cuando empezamos con el flow y la activaera”.
Randy, asimismo, expresó que su álbum El momento es un trabajo “de altura” y su lazo profesional con Wisin & Yandel es algo que “nos lo merecíamos después de 13 años buscando en la calle la oportunidad”.
En cuanto a la secuencia y propuesta musical, agregó que “es nuestro primer vídeo trabajado con una calidad bien grande. El disco está por encima de las expectativas y es perfecto, rico y sabroso. Es un disco limpio para todas las edades”.
Seguido, Jowell señaló que “estaremos agradecidos eternamente a Wisin & Yandel por esta oportunidad”.
“El negocio del disco está crítico y tuvimos ofertas de otras disqueras que nos ofrecían sólo $25 mil para un vídeo de poca calidad y ellos se acercaron a nosotros para poner la inversión y aceptamos”, acota.
Además, Jowell reveló que el junte profesional con Wisin & Yandel les ha abierto el camino para presentarse en 10 conciertos en México y Colombia.
Como si fuera poco, Wisin & Yandel se los llevarán para su próxima gira por Venezuela.
